There has been a lot of speculation about whether Daft Punk will or won't tour in 2017, following a number of hoax websites and videos that led many to believe that they might be playing the likes of Coachella, for example.

However, with no solid announcement in earshot, fans have been left clinging on to any thread of hope that the French duo will tour in 2017, as they did in 1997 and 2007.

The latest is the announcement of a pop-up shop/museum in Los Angeles that is definitely not a hoax, as it'll run from February 11th - 19th and feature "set pieces, props, wardrobe accessories, artwork, and  helmets" on display, as well as limited edition items inspired by the pair and designed by Gosha Rubchinkiy, Off-White, Enfants Riches Deprimes, Darkdron, Hervet Manufacturier and Han Cholo.

With Daft Punk performing with The Weeknd at the Grammys on Sunday, is the shop a pre-cursor to some big announcement? All we can do is wait...
