80s music legends Culture Club have been added to the line-up for the Punchestown Music festival which will take place on July 28th and 29th.
The group will be the headline act on Saturday night, replacing Jess Glynne who has been forced to cancel her appearance at the festival due to recording commitments.
Culture Club, led by frontman Boy George, were one of the biggest pop bands of the 80s, racking up seven straight Top 10 hits in the UK and nine Top 10 singles in the US.
They join Sunday night headliner Tom Jones on the bill. Deacon Blue, The Lightning Seeds, Dr Hook, Roland Gift (Fine Young Cannivals), Village People, Smash Hits, Shane Filan, All Saints, ABC, Bjorn Again, Boney M and Smokie! are all scheduled to perform at the festival.
