If you've been wondering whether Bon Iver will ever release another album, you can breathe a sigh of relief (or despair, if you're not a fan) - the Justin Vernon-led band are reportedly working on new material and will play their first gig in several years in his hometown of Eau Claire, Wisconsin in July.

Although Vernon said last year that there were no plans for a third Bon Iver album, he told Kare 11 magazine that Bon Iver would crank back into action this summer with a headline date at the Eaux Claires festival - which he has a hand in curating with Aaron Dessner of The National. "We're starting this new cycle and life in the band starting over and it makes so much sense to do it right there where it all started," he said.

Vernon - or at least Bon Iver - have been quiet in recent years since releasing their eponymous 2011 album. The band went on hiatus but Vernon has been busy producing albums for artists like The Staves, as well as releasing a solo album under the name 'Jason Feathers'.
