2018 will definitely be known as the year that Bruno Mars triumphed at the Grammys - but not all of his fellow musicians are happy for him.

With Mars picking up the ceremony's three biggest gongs - Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year - Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold made his feelings on the matter known.

He took to Instagram stories to call Mars's band a '“Toys R Us Gap Band', saying "Apart from Kendrick/SZA/Jay Z nothing that was nominated was very good in my opinion but to give it all to Toys R Us Gap Band is pretty ridic”.

Bon Iver's Justin Vernon also threw his two cents in, criticising Mars as someone who "made a name in the INDUSTRY by making hits OUT of hits of yesteryear."

Neither Fleet Foxes nor Bon Iver were nominated for a Grammy, but that definitely has nothing to do with it. Definitely not.
