Blink 182 set to tour without Travis Barker
Blink 182 look set to tour without drummer Travis Barker next year. The pop-punk act have an extensive tour in scheduled for Australia in early 2013 but Barker has said he won't be accompanying his bandmates on the trip.
Barker has developed an intense phobia of flying since the 2008 plane crash in which he suffered extensive second and third degree burns to his body and feels that a 24 hour flight would be too much for him to handle.
The drummer told Red Bulletin: "It's hard to say what the band could or what its potential is, because I can't really get everywhere. I'm contemplating getting knocked out and getting on a plane to Australia. I want to overcome that eventually. My kids are scared to death to fly. I want them to witness me overcome it."
