Bjork Writes Song For Moomin Movie
17 November 2009Remember the Moomin? The cartoon series centering on odd hippopotamus-like animals and their crazy adventures? Well, apparently Bjork is a fan of the cartoon, books and comic strip written by Finnish illustrator Tove Jansson, and now she has written a song for their latest film 'Moomins and the Comet Chase'.
Bjork co-wrote 'The Comet Song' with regular collaborator Sjón. 'Moomins and the Comet Chase' is made made finnish children's movie company Filmkompaniet and is scheduled for release in cinemas in August or September 2010, though we doubt it'll get a theatrical release in this part of the world.
