Aslan have had to reschedule their upcoming date at Dublin's Button Factory due to lead singer Christy Dignam's illness.

The gig, which was supposed to take place on March 16th, has now been pushed back to April 25th. All original tickets are valid.

The band issued a statement apologising to fans for the inconvenience, saying "We thank you for being so understanding and we hope to see you all in The Button Factory on Sat April 25th. We can't wait to get back on stage. Thanks. Christy, Rod, Joe, Alan, Billy".

Their frontman has been ill in recent years after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer of the blood.

Get well soon, Christy.
