In light of what happened in Manchester on Monday night, Ariana Grande has taken the decision to suspend a number of dates on the European leg of her 'Dangerous Woman' tour.

The tour was meant to resume in London today and tomorrow continuing thought Europe before beginning the South American leg in Brazil on June 29th.

Now, it has been confirmed that the London dates are postponed, as well as all subsequent dates until June 5th in Switzerland.

It's believed that Grande reportedly returned to her home in Florida immediately after Monday's tragedy.

A statement from the tour's promoters read: "Due to the tragic events in Manchester, the Dangerous Woman tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to those lost.

"We ask at this time that we all continue to support the city of Manchester and all those families affected by this cowardice and senseless violence. Our way of life has once again been threatened but we will overcome this together. Thank you.”

Other acts due to play at the Manchester Arena in the coming days, including Take That - who were due to play today, tomorrow and Saturday - have also postponed their gigs at the venue.
