Arctic Monkeys In Meadows Mockumentary
10 September 2009Arctic Monkeys are to make an appearance in a new mockumentary style comedy film from This Is England director Shane Meadows.
The film stars Hot Fuzz and In America actor Paddy Considine as Le Donk, as an aging roadie who attempts to get an Arctic Monkeys support slot for an overweight white rapper called Scor-zay-zee. Considine previously appeared in the music video for the Arctic Monkeys' 2006 single 'Leave Before The Lights Come On'.
'Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee' made its premiere at the Edinburgh film festival, and was also screened at Latitude earlier this summer. It is produced by Warp Films and is due for release in cinemas on October 9th
