Grab your flannel shirts, your beanie hats and your oversized denims out of the back of your wardrobe - Alanis Morissette has just announced two Irish gigs next summer.

The Canadian star will play Live at the Marquee in Cork on July 4th, followed by a date at Dublin's Iveagh Gardens on July 5th.

There's no word on a new album (her last was in 2012), but she debuted a new song called 'Rest' at a gig recently, so we may hear more new material before then.

Tickets for both dates go on sale this Monday 18th December at 9am from Ticketmaster.
