Adam Clayton's former P.A. found guilty of stealing from the U2 bassist
Carol Hawkins has been found unanimously guilty on 181 counts of theft from U2 bass player Adam Clayton. The former P.A. was convicted today at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court of the series of thefts over a four year span from 2004 to 2008 totaling €2,862,567.

Suspended sentence I hope. Just shows how much money this lot have that a PA can do that. Where is the accountant in all this??????

There is legal action pending against both the accountants and the bank. Not sure why you think the theft of euro;3 million deserves a suspended sentance. It's not like the money was used to help the poor or pay off debts - it was used for first class travel, fancy shopping and race horses.....
