Forget about the rumoured Spice Girls reunion - Destiny's Child may be getting back together, according to Beyonce's dad Mathew Knowles.

Knowles managed the girl group's fortunes before they split in 2006 and Beyoncé went on to become a global star. In an interview with The Huffington Post, he said that there had been talks about a reunion and that he hoped one would be forthcoming in "the next two to three years."

He also said that he was working on several projects related to the group, which he still officially manages. "I am extremely hopeful that the ladies will come back with an album and a tour. I’m working on a few Destiny’s Child projects right now,” he said. “My second book will be the autobiography of Destiny’s Child. I’m talking to the film and TV community right now, regarding a Destiny’s Child movie or TV series of some sort."

Although the three members - Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams - have worked together sporadically over the years, there hasn't been an official Destiny's Child release since 2005's 'Stand Up for Love' single.
