50 Cent "doing fine" after car crash
Rapper 50 Cent has been released from hospital and is "doing fine", according to a spokesperson for New York Hospital Queens.
Fiddy was travelling on New York's Long Island Expressway at 3am local time on Tuesday morning (8am Irish time) when he was rear-ended by a Mack truck, nearly overturning the SUV in which 50 Cent was in. According to fansite thisis50.com, the driver of the truck told police that he lost control of his vehicle when the load he was carrying shifter and altered the vehicle's centre of gravity.
50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, famously survived an attempt on his life twelve years ago in which he was shot nine times.
5 (Murder By Numbers), the fifth studio album from 50 Cent, will be released in early July.
