45Sound to capture The erics on Wednesday night

We've all seen it a million times; smartphones thrust into the air at concerts, their dimly-lit screens a sort of 21st century equivalent of the cigarette lighter. Countless fan-shot concert videos make their way to YouTube every day but, almost every single time, the sound quality is unlistenable given that the device's microphone can't even come close to handling the sonic output of the PA system.

That's where 45Sound come in. Their website allows you to bring to upload any videos you've shot at gigs they're covering directly to their website, where they will sync it with the music received by the sound desk leaving you with your very own video, coupled with excellent sound quality.

Why are we mentioning this? Well, as we're sure you know by now The Erics is taking place this coming Wednesday. Delorentos, Heathers, Bouts and Leanne Harte will play the show and 45Sound will be on hand to record it, so make sure to shoot some video at the show and send it into 45Sound.com. It's as easy as that really!

The erics will take over The Village on Wexford Street on Wednesday 16th January from 7pm. Tickets (€10) can be purchased here!
