We've joined environmental forces with The Gum Litter Taskforce to showcase some of the best festivals in Ireland that take sustainability to the next level.

All Together Now

In its first year here in Ireland, All Together Now promises to deliver some fresh new fun to the festival circuit this summer, while also bringing some amazing sustainability policies with it. As well as a leave no trace policy, ATN is hosting several green options that make it even more appealing.

Not only will they have their own Eco Water available all weekend, their custom water bottles that are made from 90% recycled material and are 100% recyclable themselves. To make Eco Bottles, ATN used 30 times less CO2 compared to a glass bottle and five times less CO2 than a PET Carton.

Good Intent will also be available at ATN with their tents made entirely from cardboard. If you decide to purchase a Good Intent, it will be fully built for you upon your arrival which means you can get to the fun right away, with no looking around for the nearest boy scout to help you build your tent.

All Together Now takes place from the 3rd to the 5th of August at the Curraghmore House, County Waterford.

Beatyard

Beatyard is yet another gem amongst the festival fun Ireland has to offer. It is a family-friendly, easy going festival that takes place in sunny Dun Laoghaire and has some fantastic policies in place to protect mother earth throughout the weekend.

One of these incentives is the 'Bin It To Win It' campaign. At the festival, you will be provided with a rubbish bag and if you manage to fill it with cans, you then bring it back and receive a free beer!

Seems fair to us.

Also, all food and drink containers at Beatyard will be completely bio-degradable. This is a measure that Beatyard feel very strongly about and promote during their weekend food market at the Bernard Shaw.

Beatyard takes place from  the 3rd to the 5th of August at Dun Laoghaire Harbour.

Electric Picnic

Ah, good ol’ EP. What would we do without it?

Possibly the biggest festival in Ireland, it's also making big moves towards creating an incredibly green and sustainable time for everyone. This year there are plenty of different incentives put in place by the folks over at EP to keep you having good, green fun.

Upon your arrival at EP, you will be provided with two recycling bags - one green, and one clear. When your bags are full of rubbish, bring them to the NiftyBin Recycling Points for your chance to win two free tickets for next year and a merch bundle. Happy days!

EP actively encourage all attendees to bring home their tents and camping equipment, and we know you don’t want to drag your battle-scarred tent home, but just power through. Leftover tents can damage the environment more than you think and to combat this, EP also offer a tent rental service with Kip N’ Go. Prices start as low as €60 which also includes a sleeping bag and mat, so you'll want for nothing.

Electric Picnic takes place from the 31st of August to the 2nd of September at Stradbally Hall, County Laois.
