Just in case you might get your hopes up, Super Size Me's Morgan Spurlock doesn't find Osama Bin Laden in this pop bubblegum, dumbed-down version of Fahrenheit 911. In his quest to hunt down the world's most wanted man, Spurlock travels the globe taking in Morocco, Egypt, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Although his search proves fruitless - he uses the title question as a jump-off point to get in amongst the locals - Spurlock revels in interviewing low-level government officials and the average Muslim in the street, hoping to voice their opinions on America and what Islam really means. "It is not Islam to kill people or blow yourself up," an aged man tells him; "F*ck America and f*ck Bin Laden," says another, and Spurlock hopes the 'rednecks' back home, of which he calls himself one, are listening and won't paint every Muslim with the same brush. It's an admirable idea, but in his heart of hearts he must know that the only people watching are those who agree with him this has as much chance of changing the minds of warmongers as Julian Lennon's Saltwater did of making industrialists rethink their MO. While Spurlock is off doing his thing, his pregnant wife waits patiently for his safe return and Spurlock worries about impending fatherhood and what kind of world his child will be born into.
