** Preview ** The French know a thing or two about thrillers and tend to bring something else to the genre. Word has it that Tell No One (Ne Le Dit A Personne) is up there with the best. Eight years ago, Margot Beck (Croze) was murdered by a serial killer. Although admitting to all the other murders, the killer always denied being responsible for Margot's death. Accusing fingers were pointed at her husband Alexandre (Cluzet) but the serial killer took the fall. Eight years later and Alexandre is still haunted by her death and the only respite he has is throwing himself into his work as a paediatrician and the friendship he has with Helene (Scott Thomas). When two bodies are discovered near the scene of Margot's death, the case is reopened and attention returns to Alexandre once more, who receives an e-mail with a link to a video surveillance webcam and instructions as to when to watch it. Directed and co-written by 34-year-old Canet (who was previously seen in The Beach and Joyeux Noel), Tell No One - adapted from Harlan Coben's novel - weaves an intricate plot full of twists and turns that keeps the audience in the dark until the last possible moment.
