While holidaying in Mallorca, three English girlfriends - Lisa (Breckin), Kim (Jaime Winstone) and Tammi (Burley) - meet three guys in a bar and are invited back to their yacht. Heading out on the high seas, they engage in drink, drugs and flirting and the friendly conversation turns to a violent sexual manoeuvre called a Donkey Punch. Amazingly, the girls seem interested and inebriated by the alcohol and drugs, Lisa and Kim go downstairs to the cabin where they film themselves having sex with the lads. However, when one of the guys executes the Donkey Punch, it breaks Lisa's neck. Panic. Fearing rotting away in a Spanish jail, the boys want to get rid of her body and tell the police that she got drunk and slipped overboard. The girls want to get back to shore and tell the cops the truth... what follows is a battle of wits that descends into an all-out battle.

What Blackburn is to be commended for is creating an unsettling mood from the off in this Dead Calm wannabe; even before the party on the yacht there's a feeling that something's amiss or wrong and you can't quite put your finger on it - similar to The Talented Mister Ripley in that respect. Unfortunately, Blackburn is unable to sustain the tension and the film falls apart very quickly. A flawless opening hour is let down by a shaky twenty minutes before succumbing to absolute nonsense by the end. Disappointing.
