Gangs of New York

Director Scorcese offers a disturbing take on America's 'melting pot' mythology, casting Day-Lewis and DiCaprio as rival New York city gang leaders at a time when the young nation was being torn apart by civil war. Gory, bloody and epic in scale, a must-see.
