Playing: TriangleMr Sheridan, you would appear to be too dim to understand an excellent and well-crafted film. Perhaps you should consider a different career, as you appear totally unsuited to your current one.
And what do you do Astaroth? What if Mike Sheridan went into your work place and shouted across the office saying you're not good at your job. Film criticism, as I understand it, is a subjective opinion. Just because his opinion on a movie differs to yours you want him to lose his job? Grow up.
That said, I thought Triangle was a good show too.
I'm sorry but Mike is right here. This movie is filled with countless plot holes. Mike wasn't "too dim" he just cant go into the plot in-depth in a review format like this. I came to this site through wikipedia, as Mike had the only negative review listed on the article. Main problems with the film: ITS BORING - once the "loop" format is established, we can pretty much guess whats going to happen next 90% of the time. THE CHARACTERS ARE UNBELIEVABLE - One example: Woman starts saying she has seen her doppleganger, something weird going on this ship, meets her with an unrealistic incredulity that is only in the film to further the plot. PLOTHOLES - She dies in the car accident, right? But I guess its aliens! Or heaven, right? Ok I can deal with that, but assuming she was the 20th or 30th incarnation of the loop (its not infinite, evidenced by the corpses) she goes on the boat knowing whats going to happen, WHY DOES SHE ACT SO SURPRISED WHEN THINGS STRANGE THINGS START HAPPENING? HASNT SHE BEEN THROUGH IT ALL BEFORE? Or does her memory conveniently get erased before each trip? If so, why? Going off the bit of exposition about the name of the boat, this is just all some sick joke. Or punishment. There is no message, just some floundering attempt at trying to sound smart. This movie was terriblastic, Mike had it right. 2/5
