Playing: Puss In BootsI was lucky enough to win tickets to the premier of this movie, thanks Entertainment.ie. I went with my family(husband and teenage sons) and loved the film. The humour is clever enough in places to go over the heads of the little ones but entertain the teenagers. Definately recommend to all.
Good movie, went to see it with my wife and 10 year darther and we all had a great day
After popping up in three Shrek films as a supporting sidekick, Puss In Boots gets his own standalone prequel... and it works very well. I had my doubts about it at first, but Puss is such a crowd-pleasing character that there's enough here to keep both adults and children entertained and amused. The film feels fresh and could be called a "spaghetti fairytale" if there is such a thing. It certainly comes across as being more in tune with the characters as the last two Shrek films which were disappointing. The voice work, especially by Antonio Banderas, is excellent and allows each character to shine. There's certainly enough ground work done in this first film to lay the tracks for a sequel. I certainly wouldn't mind jumping onboard for another Puss In Boots adventure. Forget rapping penguins and squeaky chipmunks, Puss In Boots is so much cooler.
Disappointed , the word I would use to describe this film , after a lot of hype went to see this film it had funny moments but wide apart and parts of film quiet boring and predictable , something was missing , no way near as good as shrek or other top cartoons.
It isn't deep or groundbreaking, but what it lacks in profundity, Puss in Boots more than makes up for with an abundance of wit, visual sparkle, and effervescent charm.
Puss in Boots is brilliant!! I thought it would be a bit childish but it's good for all the family!!!
very funny. not the deepest plot ever written but if you like cats your in for a good laugh. fun for kids and adults alike. i enjoyed it
