Playing: Paranormal Activity 3looks like i will be laughing through Paranormal Activaty.....again
Paranormal Activity 3... or Paranormal Activity -2? It seems that this spooky series is going continuously backwards rather than forwards. Maybe next year we'll be going back a hundred years? Anyway, it's business as usual with lots of strange noises, banging doors and a strange, ever invisible presence in the house. The panning camera in the kitchen is a smart idea - seemingly basic but it increases the tension as things move in and out of frame. The series is a well-oiled scare machine by now, making an appropriate replacement for the Saw series. While the two kids playing the younger versions of Katie and Kristi are very good, I think something has been lost by going backwards in time. I'd like to go back to the adult Katie and see what she's been up to since we last saw her... She's far scarier. It takes a lot to scare me, though the film made me jump a few times. However, it amazes me that some people (mostly women) keep screaming their lungs out during these films. Any directors out there looking for a new Fay Wray? ;o)
Am I really the only one feeling a bit jipped by this film? The trailers looked great, the virals even better but next to none of that material showed up in the final cut. WTF?!
absolutely no way in hell I'm going to see this in the cinema!! freaked!
Oh..My..God.. I saw this last night with my friends. It's so scary! I mean everyone had such a bad reaction to it. I honestly thought it wouldn't be that scary because the second one wasn't that scary. But I was wrong... Screamed so much in the cinema. I was shacking and sweating with fear. Absolutely terrified now.
Wow, what can I say, it kept your attention until the last,,, and then what.... They finished with And it was over... I was on the edge of my seat and then fell off......
