Playing: BraveI was at the premier also. I agree that it was too dark through the dark 3D glasses to decipher many details of many scenes. The storyline is a nice bridge between Disney fairytales and the freshness of Pixar. I love the strong feisty redheaded heroine and the Scottish setting. I'd give it four stars.
I saw Brave in 2D and it looked fine to me. I wish cinemas would give 2D showings equal treatment with 3D. Not all of us want to pay extra to wear those silly glasses and watch a darkened image that doesn't do the film's look any favours. As for the film - it's not classic Pixar but it's decent enough.
I took my 9 and 5 year olds to this and it was really enjoyable. Forget the 3D version - 2D was great.
Brought my nieces to this film and they loved it as did i, loved the character merida and the scenes were great 3 d was good but didnt need to see it in 3d!
I seen this (Im a 21 year old male) and I really enjoyed it. The story isn't as epic as it could have been but its visually enjoyable and the character of Merida is fresh and interesting. Oh, and I always avoid 3D.

the animation in this film is amazing! but it wasnt as good as other pixars i agree with this review that it needed a better villian.. i also had serious hair envy!! enjoyed it great accents and good funny bits.. I did see it in 2D and it looked amazing.. hate this 3D craze!!
