US Vice President Joe Biden's known for making one or two gaffes.
The Veep, who has strong Irish roots, was welcoming our own gaffe-machine Enda Kenny and his wife to the White House.
During photos, Biden called out, "Anyone who's wearing orange isn't getting in here!"
Bad enough that he drew attention to the deep religious divisions up North, but Kenny and Biden were due to talk about how to work together better on Northern Ireland.
So, yeah, that's not a good starting point.
Unsurprisingly, there's been calls for an immediate apology by members of the DUP and the Unionist movement in Northern Ireland.
Vice President Biden has been a strong supporter of the Irish in America and has said on many occasions that he'd like to visit Ireland before the end of his term.
