Our only exposure to platypuses - or platypi (both are correct, we checked Wikipedia) - have been either through the cartoon Tazmania which aired before Home & Away or possibly Don Conroy brought it up once in between drawing owls.
However, after seeing this, we are disgustingly in love with the little critters and have set out to find one in real life somewhere. Did you know playtpuses have no stomachs and no teeth? You do now.
