With the final episode of smash-hit podcast Serial due later this week, the folks at Funny or Die decided to take a wry look at what's in store for the millions of listeners around the world.
In this short parody, they imagine what it must be like as the crew of Serial put the finishing touches on the final episode. The unprecedented success of the show has put the pressure on as huge numbers around the world wait for Thursday to come so that they can get some resolution to the story that they have been following for the last 12 weeks.
However, that is easier said than done, and given that it would be very unlikely for Koenig to have cracked the case and provide everyone with a happy ending, this parody gives us an idea of what her and the rest of the production team might be going through today. Of course, there's also a reference to Mail...kimp?
