Another reason why you should never get too close to an iceberg...
Having watched Titanic, we know that we should literally steer clear of icebergs, but it seems that Wanda Stead and her husband Rick didn't get the message, as they got a little too close for comfort to one that collapsed, sending a huge wave hurtling towards them.
You can hear the panic in Wanda's screams (so maybe turn down the headphones too) as the water rushes in their direction, and she told the CBC that "I think my heart came up, and I swallowed it. I was petrified", but also admitted they were too close to it, having gotten within 100 feet.
Snead said her aim in uploading the video, filmed last weekend on the Bay of Exploits in Canada, was to show that people need to keep their distance and respect nature. A case of 'do as I say and not as I do', of course...
