Don't ask us why. Well you can, but the answer is going to be one of two things.

Either it's just another case of the Japanese doing some weird, kooky stuff because that's just what they like to do, or else it's another ploy to gain some media exposure ahead of the release of the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

To be honest, we don't really care either way, we like it. All we need to know is do ANA, the company who are putting the planes in the sky, fly into Dublin. Seeing as the planes aren't set to fly until December, coincidentally the same time the film is released, we have plenty of time to find out/pester them.
