Before we get into it, just remember that people can fly through the air in an engine-propelled metal bird-like creation that doesn't even move its wings.

The more we fly the more we tend to forget just how incredible that is, but every so often we see someone's first ever takeoff and we get reminded just how mind-blowing it really is.

Meet 57-year-old Irishman Patsy Carville, who was on his first ever plane journey, Dublin to Liverpool, and his daughter Michelle thought it'd be a good idea to record his reaction. Turns out it was a great idea, as Patsy was laughing, screaming, crying, and going through just about every emotion impossible. Unfortunately she didn't record the landing, but that just means we don't have to hear a bunch of people clapping because a plane landed on time, so we're ok with it.

My daddy's first time on a plane & I managed to catch a video of "The Take Off"......it was too good not to share : ) ✈
