When one passenger on a Virgin Train service in the UK found themselves in a nightmare situation, the staff were on hand to provide some of the best customer service that we've ever heard of, all thanks to a simple tweet.
We've often heard that social media can be leveraged for the good of humanity, but few cases illustrate it as clearly as this one, where a vlogger who goes by the name of Adam found himself in quite the dilly of a pickle on a Virgin Trains service from London to Glasgow. While we will say that he cold have found a more polite way of describing his predicament, we won't pretend that we've not all felt that sense of sheer panic at some stage when we discover there is no toilet paper.
I've just had a reasonably large poo and there is no toilet roll left on the @virgintrains 19.30 train from Euston to Glasgow pls send help.

However, the good people of Virgin's customer service team were there to help him, and they responded with a tweet asking him where he was so that they could send someone to help.
@VirginTrains J thank you

Speaking to BuzzFeed, Adam said that he did have to awkwardly pop his head out of the carriage to get the attention of his toilet paper carrying saviour, but it all worked out alright in the end. And, he also noted that he learned an important lesson.

So, now you know what to do if the same thing ever happens to you on an Iaranród Éireann service...
