Two Ryanair planes got a little too close for comfort again this morning as they clipped each other, causing damage to the aircraft.

The incident occurred as both flights were taxiing to the runway, but a spokesperson for the airline stated that thankfully there had been no reports of injuries to passengers or crew.

They added that "the winglet of one aircraft appears to have scraped the tail fin of the other. Both aircraft were under the instruction of Dublin Airport Air Traffic Control at the time".

The flights affected were headed to Zadar and Edinburgh, but passengers had to face a bit of a delay as they were brought back to the terminal while alternative aircraft were found.
