If you're wondering what storm names you may be preparing to curse in the coming twelve months, the list has been revealed.
Since earlier this year when UK and Irish meteorologists agreed on naming storms, as they do in the US, we've had storms called Abigail, Barney, Clodagh, Desmond, Eva and now we're currently in the midst of Storm Frank.
The names on the horizon include Gertrude, Mary, Nigel, Steve and Vernon - but by the time we're ripping through the list, we may have to go around the alphabet again by the end of 2016.
