If you were in Dublin earlier today, you no doubt heard a massive noise that scared the crap out of you. Right?

Worry not, folks. It isn't the sound of the apocalypse or even the sound of the police. It's the sound of an F-16 Bomber flying overhead.

Yes, the US Air Force decided to make a little surprise for the Croke Park Classic between Penn State and UCF. 

Apparently, the F-16s - there were two of them - soared over Croke Park, just as the American national anthem was finishing.

Because what better way to salute your nationality by screaming fighter jets hitting near supersonic speeds, right?
