Android users can now officially stop making their friends call their phones when they’ve misplaced them.

No seriously, that’s really annoying.

But thanks to Google’s new system, you can simply search "find my phone" and it’ll activate the Android Device Manager, giving you the device’s whereabouts on a Google Map, as well as giving you the options to make it ring, lock it, or wipe everything from it.

It all seems fairly simplistic, but there’s one snag. You can use the new system on any desktop, but using it on a phone will require the latest Google update, so get downloading people.

It’s almost like they want you to download their products. Imagine that.
