Central Perk
The gang from Friends visited Central Perk so often, they had their own spot that no one else was allowed sit in. Only once did anyone even attempt it, and it led to a fight. Even though we could never figure out how they managed to afford all that coffee, we always wished we could have visited. It would have been great entertainment to sip on one of those gigantic cups of coffee, while listening to Phoebe serenade the crowd with Smelly Cat.

Luke's Diner
Luke's Diner must have been the only place in Stars Hollow that served up decent coffee, or why else would Rory and Lorelai have chosen to eat there almost every day. As well as a good cup of coffee, Luke and his chef also serve up waffles and pancakes in the morning, and burgers and fries in the afternoon. Even with Luke's strict ban on phone use, it's somewhere we would love to go.

Katz's Deli
This is a coffee shop / restaurant that does actually exist, and that we could visit in real life, if only we lived in New York. Katz's Deli has been in business since 1888 and is famous for its pastrami sandwiches, serving up 4,500 kg of the meat a week. It's been used as a location in many film and TV shows, but most famously it featured in When Harry Met Sally. How many times a week do you think the waiters hear, "I'll have what she's having"?

The Diner, Summer Bay
Watching Home and Away on a cold, wet Irish winter evening, there was nowhere in the world we wanted to be more than Summer Bay. The weather always looked great, the people were beautiful and their school uniforms were so much better than ours. If through some magic, we had have woken up and found ourselves in Summer Bay, the first place we would have gone was The Diner. Some coffee and a pastry in the sunshine, nothing could be better.

Monk's Café
For most of the 90s, Monk's café was the regular hang out of Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer. Throughout the run of the show, Monk's became so popular that opportunites to be an extra during a scene in Monk's were auctioned off for charity. We could always go visit Tom's Restaurant in New York City which was used for the exterior of Monk's Café, but since all the interior scenes were filmed on a set; it wouldn't really be the same.

As much as we'd love to have a cuppa in these fictional cafes we know we can't, so instead we're going to turn our offices into the café of our dreams on September 17th for Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning, proudly supported by Bewley’s, is the main annual fundraiser for hospice services in Ireland. Get involved and host a coffee morning on Sept 17th to raise vital funds for your local hospice service. All money raised locally, stays locally.
