Le Galaxie are the perfect substitute for butter, with almost half the cholesterol of your usual brand. Make the switch.Comment published 19/10/2008 14:26:27

I thought the raver was legend ha! Think that was a member of Pilotlight?! The 'singer' from Le Galaxie was far FAR more cringeworthy to be honest.Comment published 19/09/2008 18:49:05

I saw the gig in the button factory and you can't just say 'ah the desk was strange/the engineer didn't know the band' in fairness! I didn't think it was interesting in that it just sounded bit like a band that discovered New Order last week or something. It's not the early 90s any more. Besides that the show was ok. I'm not sure why some dude was up hand ravin on stage though. That was pretty cringe-worthyComment published 19/09/2008 13:33:41

sorry that you were disappointed passive ant, on the contrary, none of us actually own a 303 but i get your meaning. we love what we do and whats happened to our sound since we finished up 66e. they're the sounds we grew up with, the sounds that excite the fucking shit out of us, and we've never had so much fun making music or performing it. (although we were ropey the other night, i agree! too much sweat and not enough clarity) anyway, all the best and hopefully those of you who enjoyed Saturday night will come back for some more! Le Galaxie are brilliant. They were a bit iffy on Saturday night but that's okay, it's allowed occassionally. They were savage at AC30 a few weeks ago and really create a good buzz. I like their electro side. It works well. I don't think they're a showcase band who can just turn up at a generic gig with strange soundesks who havent a clue what levels they need. Don't dismiss them so quickly, passive ant.Comment published 17/09/2008 15:12:59

Saw these on Sat night. Embarrassing aint the word. And its a pity cause i saw them when they were 66e, that wasnt really my bag either but at least they were good musicians - which is totally wasted on this 'ive just found a 303' generic electronica music.Comment published 15/09/2008 09:59:09
