Hard Working Class Heroes 2008

Grand Pocket Orchestra

With a new EP tour just around the corner, now is the perfect time to catch GPO at their full stride. Having been a surprise hit at last years HWCH, you can expect an abundance of noise filled pop and cheap toy keyboards. definitely one for the diary.

Great fun band, they make me smile and want to forget about everything crap like work and bad people. Their are big Pavement fans too so consider me there peeps! Also for Pavement fans I would recommend So Cow... oh im excited! Pity about the hugely expensive tickets. Attendence this year may be small I think because of this! There I said it!Comment published 11/09/2008 22:20:58

halandor - Dead right about Randy Blew and others here...what the hell is wrong with people? A bunch of presumably hard-working bands are trying to get on, each giving away a free gift....and yet there are morons slagging off their songs, their vocals, their leather jackets even! I'd bet my last Euro if Blew were asked her opinion by any of the bands face-to-face at a gig what she thought of them she'd say she loved it....and the band too. ;-) Loadsa balls on an anonymous website, though.Comment published 01/09/2008 19:30:04

I think they're great fun altogether. Rather that than po-faced dickheads in leather jacketsComment published 13/08/2008 00:06:40

Unbearable voice!!!!! Who cares if you sing about odd socks, fluffy objects,or the collection of snots that you stash under your mothers breasts. This is not even close to be given the chance of someone with full hearing! Would be more suited in a play centre like Girraffes or a really smelly bin after a hard Saturday night in town!!!!!! Sorry KIDS the cute bullcrap doesnt cut the play dogh!!!!!!! ha ha ha ha ha ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Comment published 12/08/2008 22:25:12
