Hard Working Class Heroes 2008

Entertainment.ie is very proud to be sponsoring the download chart of this year’s Hard Working Class Heroes Festival. Established in 2003, HWCH’s focus is on promoting young Irish bands and artists, and showcasing them to the masses and the media in a live setting. Basically, it gives a platform to musicians from all over the country - 100 of which have an opportunity to showcase their talents in various venues in Temple Bar across the weekend of September 12th, 13th and 14th.

How does the download chart actually work, I hear you ask? Well, if you look below this text, you’ll see a list of the bands and artists participating in this year’s festival. If you click on any particular name, you’ll get a blurb of info about that band or artist, and also a link to download a song of theirs. Just before HWCH kicks off, the twenty bands with the most downloads will feature on a ‘Best Of’ compilation that will be available at the festival.

So get clicking on those download links to vote for your favourite band - you can also keep an eye on their progress on our ever-changing Download Chart.
