For all you gamers out there, it's finally happening! The next generation of gaming is about to begin, with less than two weeks before the first of the new consoles is released, plus with Christmas coming up, odds are pretty good that one of these bad-boys is going to be one someone's wish-list. But which one are you going to buy, and how are you going to make your decision? Is it the initial batch of launch games that will sway you, or perhaps the tech aspect will impress you, as it will spell out which of the systems will have a more powerful longevity and technical relevance?

As per usual, we here at entertainment.ie are here to help! When it comes to the games, both systems will have the following from Day One: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Battlefield 4, Call Of Duty: Ghosts, FIFA 14, Just Dance 2014, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, Madden NFL 25, NBA 2K14, Need For Speed: Rivals, and Skylanders: Swap Force.
Below we've laid out the release dates, the prices (and what your money will get you), all of the tech stuff (don't worry, we didn't understand most of it, either), and the Day One release games, both the one's you can buy in-store, and the one's you can solely download from the comfort of your home.
