Although it's not the full trailer - that lands on June 17th - it is our first-look at the eagerly awaited FIFA '17.

The big takeaway from this reveal is that Frostbite - the engine used for much of the Battlefield series, Star Wars: Battlefront, Dragon Age: Inquisition and the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda - is finally being implemented in a FIFA game. What does that mean, exactly?

Well, for one thing, the graphics are going to be insane. From what we could make out from this short reveal, mo-cap was used to get the physical mannerisms and attributes of each player. Not only that, the lighting, the physics, the feel of the game is going to be vastly improved upon from previous iterations.

It's early days yet, of course, and there's a lot to more speculate about in the meantime, but for now, here's the teaser.

June 17th means the game won't be featured in E3, which isn't much of a surprise. Sports game typically don't go over well at E3, as we've seen in previous years. We'll be checking back then for the full trailer and, we hope, lots more footage and information on the game.

So, what do you make of it? Will the Frostbite engine make much of a difference for you? Or are you still loyal to Pro Evo? Let us know in the comments!
