Although it's not even out a full month yet, 'Spider-Man' is already on track to be one of the most successful games of the year so far and is already breaking records.
It was announced on Thursday that the game is now the fastest-selling game on the PlayStation 4, toppling the record previously held by 'God Of War'. Not only that, 'Spider-Man' also became the fastest-selling game of all time in the UK, sold more copies than any other game in its opening week in 2018, and has become the fastest-selling Marvel-branded game of all time.

The game sold 3.3 million copies in its first three days of release, beating 'God Of War' and its 3 million copies and will likely topple its record of 5 million copies sold by the end of the month. Just to put that in perspective, 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' made a total of $117 million on its opening weekend whilst 'Spider-Man' made $198 million on its opening weekend.
