LA Noire's always occupied a strange space in gaming history.

On its release, critics hailed it as the next evolutionary step in both terms of technology and gameplay itself, but the game didn't resonate or have such a cultural impact in the way that other offerings from Rockstar had - namely Grand Theft Auto. Nevertheless, Rockstar's still invested in the game and announced today that it's now being ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch with new missions to boot.

As well as this, a VR version for the HTC Vive is also soon to be made available and will see players take on "seven of the original engrossing, self-contained cases from L.A. Noire rebuilt specifically for virtual reality, blending breathtaking action with true detective work to deliver an unprecedented interactive experience."

Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch version will have "specific enhancements including a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble and new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles, plus contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work."

All versions will be made available from November 14th.
