Yesterday saw the release of the new trailer for the latest installment of one of the biggest selling video game franchises in history, Call Of Duty. Set ten years after a catastrophic event that changes the balance of power around the globe, with the United States no longer recognised as a superpower, a new powerful enemy rears its head, and the fragments of what is left of America's special forces come together - now calling themselves 'Ghosts' (there's that subtitle!) - to bring them down and protect what's left of their weakened nation.

Sounds heavy, but also sounds like a fitting situation for an anthemic, "We will never back down!" type rallying war-cry of a song.

Enter Eminem:

Over this new trailer you can hear his upcoming single 'Survival', which is filled with lyrics like 'It ain't over til I say it's over', and with that looping rock guitar beat for him to rap over, it's almost as if it were written with this game in mind.

If you'd rather get a load of the song with it being drowned out in parts by grenade launchers and exploding helicopters, the whole song can be found here:

Call Of Duty: Ghosts will be available on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Will U from November 5th, with the release date on Playstation 4 and Xbox One still to be confirmed.

Eminem's new album is expected to land 'sometime in Autumn'.
