Dust off that bottle of Jolt Cola you've been saving, and squeeze into your XworX jeans - we're going to the Dr. Quirkey's on Memory Lane.

For those of you who have no clue what I just said, I just really showed my age! The relevance being: nostalgia. Time Crisis has always been dear to my heart. The sheer excitement of holding the gun in your hand, impressing the ladyfolk with your accuracy and your Brylcreemd hair was a pinnacle of my childhood.

I did not relive my teen years today - not even close. Unfortunately it seems that this game is caught in a time warp of its own (gettit!). Namco have not only dropped the ball, but they've tucked it under their arm and run home crying.

Firstly, the gun isn't wireless. That speaks for itself! Secondly, they have mutilated the gun by adding analog sticks to it. How the hell are you supposed to aim and move at the same time? Seriously, what were they thinking? The arcade mode offers the more traditional style of the 'action moves, you aim' format, but it is annoyingly faithful to the arcade. Lives and 'continues' are in short demand - at one point I was looking on my PS3 for somewhere to stick a euro in!

Don't bother!
