Free jumping, what's the story there? Some dude makes a name for himself running and jumping… seriously, how is that a sport? It's like professional pouting, or the looking cool Olympics!
Anyway, it wasn't going to be long before everyone started cashing in. Free running has featured in a Bond film, has actually attempted, miserably, a console game before and now is back with a much better effort.
So it's the future, and society live in giant high rises and cool people are targeted for dressing evocatively and having tattoos, oh damn the man! Silly plot aside - you are a messenger or smuggler or something - basically, you need to free run around the gaff delivering packages, but evil henchmen stand in your way so you get to do some kicking and shooting as well. Nice!
This looks very pretty and the free running is well executed, the combat works, kinda… it just feels well a little half-arsed. Had they made the free running a special part of the combat, instead of the other way round, I think this would have been a classic, instead I can see it getting boring very quickly.
