Ireland’s fastest growing festival, BARE in the Woods, has announced a partnership with Mobstar – the first mobile platform for global talent – to offer Irish musicians and artists a chance to play at BARE in the Woods 2017.

To be in with a chance to perform at the festival record a clip of you or your band and upload it to the BARE in the Woods category through the MobStar app. The clips will be reviewed by festival organisers and the selected acts will have the opportunity to play various BARE events throughout 2017.

Additionally, acts who are chosen to play at BARE events via the MobStar app will have their music reviewed by music industry mentors.

BARE in the Woods 2016 saw The Sugar Hill Gang headline a sold out festival at Garryhinch Woods for the third consecutive year.

Mobstar is the first and largest open network of authentic music talent that will allow users and fans to immediately discover, share, engage, follow and directly support their favourite rising talent.

Preparations are advanced to announce dates, ticket details and initial line-up announcements for BARE17, and fans of the festival had the opportunity to see some footage of this summer’s event (and an interview with The Sugar Hill Gang) on RTE1 Monday October 31, as the documentary ‘Fleadhed – Mo Bhig Fat Dirty Feile' went to air.
