Johnny Keenan Banjo Festival

The Johnny Keenan Banjo Festival is a "Celebration of Irish Traditional and American Bluegrass Music".

Each year during the festival, the town of Longford , in the centre of Ireland , is transformed into a haven for musicians and music lovers.

This year the festival boasts a star studded lineup with home grown talent including: Paul Brady, Mundy, Gerry O'Connor, Beoga, Electric Céilí, We Banjo 3, Niallm Toner Band and many more.

Also in the lineup are The Barcelona Bluegrass Band (Spain) and Blackjack (Czech Republic) not to mention a host of American artists: Suzy Bogguss, Blue Highway, Geroge Harper and Rick Shea to name a few.
