Annagassan Viking Festival

The festival celebrates the Celtic and Viking history of Annagassan. A Viking village, complete with real Vikings, is set up in Annagassan in Co. Louth. The festival is a fun-filled family weekend with lots of activities and fun for both children and adults alike. Among its attractions will be a Viking Village showcasing Viking crafts, Viking living history re-enactments and Viking battles. There will be sword fighting, wrestling, craft and food stalls, demonstrations of traditional crafts, entertainment in the marquee, Irish dancing and music.
