Carrick on Shannon Water Music Festival 2012

Carrick-on-Shannon Water Music Festival - Leitrim's boutique festival of classical, jazz, folk and world music - presents another brilliant line up of music, theatre, workshops and family entertainment in a packed few days in one of Ireland's most scenic riverside towns.
 
In parallel with past years, the aim of the festival's organisers again this year is to present a vibrant programme of classical, jazz, traditional and world music to discerning music lovers both local and visiting.
 
Regular consumers of the boutique festive offering seem to like the way wthe music is prsented, from the unique Proms to the late night Festival Club, as they keep coming back for more each year.
 
Already confirmed for the festival are Lakelands Gala Proms, O Emperor, Katie Kim, The Henry Girls, Charlie McGettigan, Donal Dineen, We Banjo 3, Ursula Connolly Band, The Original Guinness Jazz Band.

But that's not all.  Watch out for announcements about family fun entertainment, jazz and world music acts as the  final details are added. This year there will be a series of music education workshops and for anyone who fancies themselves 'cutting a rug' – a fantastic Charleston dance workshop.

Lots of music too on Moon River and a jazz 'n' blues trail and continental market around town.
