Clarenbridge Oyster Festival

This lively two day festival, set in the picturesque village of Clarenbridge, Co.Galway, at the mouth of the river Clarin, is an event packed with excellent local food, fun activities and incredible live music entertainment. Held in the festival marquee, the 2012 celebrations will once again showcase all that beautiful Clarenbridge and its deliciously famous Dunbulcan Bay oysters have to offer, along with the regular yearly highlights including both oyster opening/shucking and oyster eating competitions. Tickets are just 45euro for the festival Gala Celebrations on Saturday 15th and 10euro for the Family Fun day on Sunday 16th. Tickets go on sale in May and at these prices they are sure to sell out fast.
